The Tesla Model X is a full-size crossover utility vehicle (CUV) currently being development by Tesla Motors. A prototype version was shown at Tesla’s design studios in Los Angeles on February 9, 2012. The Model X is being designed using the platform from the Model S full-size sedan. It is currently scheduled to enter production sometime late 2014 – mid 2015.
